PROFESSOR RU-JIN HUANG – SELECTED FOR THE SHAANXI "SANQIN TALENT" SPECIAL SUPPORT PROGRAM (2025)
Professor Ru-Jin Huang, Principal Investigator at the Institute of Earth Environment, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IEECAS), has been selected for the 2025 Shaanxi "Sanqin Talent" Special Support Program (formerly known as the "Sanqin Outstanding Talent" Program) .
About the Program
The "Sanqin Talent" Special Support Program is Shaanxi Province's highest-level talent recognition initiative, administered by the Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee Talent Work Leading Group. The program selects and supports outstanding talents who have made significant contributions to scientific and technological innovation, entrepreneurship, and social development in Shaanxi Province. The 2025 cohort includes 344 individuals across various categories, with Professor Huang recognized as a "Science and Technology Innovation Leading Talent" .
Selection Process
The selection process involves rigorous evaluation through multiple stages, including nomination, formal review, expert panel assessment, and final approval by the Provincial Party Committee Talent Work Leading Group. This program serves as Shaanxi Province's counterpart to China's national "Ten Thousand Talents Program," providing dedicated support to top-tier professionals in the region.
